We are sad to announce the peaceful passing of Marjorie Wyatt at the age of 94. Beloved wife of the late Jack for 71 years. Predeceased by sister Bernice and brother Melvin. Beloved mother of Doug (Norma Jean), Tom (Judy) and the late James. She took great delight in her six grandchildren, Scott (Katrina), Jeff (Dominique), Kevin (Megan), Mitch, Cori (Taylor) and Julie, and great-grandchildren Leidia, Noah, Eli, Aubrey and Cavan. Marjorie was a member of Marshall Memorial Church in Ancaster and served on several committees. She was an active member at Meadowlands Retirement Home, well known for her warm welcoming of new residents. She attended Sunday hymn sings and read stories that she selected with great thought, which were well-received. She enjoyed daily fitness class and was a regular player at euchre games. Marjorie always found great comfort in knowing her family was safe and together. She will live in our memory for her wonderful hosting, baking delights and the family meals she prepared with love. We would like to thank the staff at Juravinski and Hamilton General Hospitals for their kindness, and also, the thoughtful caring attention given to her at Meadowlands. Cremation has taken place and visitation will be held at Dodsworth & Brown Funeral Home, Ancaster (378 Wilson St. E. 905-648-3852) on Sunday, September 25, 2022 from 1:00-3:00 pm. Memorial Service in the chapel on Monday, September 26, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. with interment to follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
