Mark CHRISTOPHERSON Obituary

CHRISTOPHERSON, Mark It is with deep sadness that our family announces the passing of our much loved Mark Charles Christopherson on April 9 at the age of 59. He is now walking hand in hand with his cherished son Ryan and father Leonard. He leaves behind his mother June who loved him dearly. His brother David (Denise) with whom he had an unbreakable bond. His wife Rose with whom he shared years of love and laughter. Rose will surely miss her Punky. His beloved daughter Kelly (Stuart) who he was very proud of and who will always be his little girl and his precious grandson Jax who was the apple of his eye. He will also be missed by his nieces Kayla (Cole) and Chantel (Brandon) and his many cousins. Mark welcomed his extended family with a loving open heart. Lisa, Theresa (James), Stephanie (Brendan) and Christina (Jonathan) and their children Connor, Ajayci, Zoe and Carter were blessed to have him in their lives. Mark was a dedicated employee of DHL and Loomis, a past executive and proud member of UNIFOR local 4457, a news junkie, a top shelf sign chair, a black belt in Karate, a drummer and guitar player who jammed with his musician friends. He was a better pool player than his brother, a battery and flashlight guru and loved to vacation in the sun. He was a graduate of Mohawk Performing Arts and quickly became a skilled actor in live theatre and film. He was also a committed blood donor. Mark was a good man who loved his family and touched everyone he met. Along the way, through his actions he gathered many lifelong friends. A private service has already taken place. All are welcome to share in the celebration of his life which will be announced in the coming weeks.
