Mark Fischer Obituary

With profound sadness, we announce the unexpected passing of Mark, on Friday, November 13, 2020 at the age of 64. Mark will be deeply missed by his loving soulmate Tracy and her children Samantha and Emily. Much loved father of Mitchell, Linsey, and their mother Nancy. Dear brother of Gail, Gary, Guy, Rex and Kandy. Predeceased by his parents Robert and Janet Fischer and by his brother Jim. Mark will be lovingly remembered and missed by his many nieces, nephews, friends and colleagues. Mark touched the lives of many and was well respected and loved by all who knew him. His sense of humour was constant and quick witted and will never be forgotten. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date due to Covid. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.

I can only speak for my own experiences with Mark, but I know he went out of his way to make his family happy. As one of Sam's best friends, I can say with 100% confidence that almost every time I was with her, he would offer to send us to Niagara falls, buy us a hotel room, or something along those lines. He wanted us to have fun, he always joked around with us, and I'll always appreciate that. I hope things are getting easier, I send my love.

Mark was an amazing, generous, caring and loveable man. I truly considered him as a second father/father figure and will be forever grateful to have had that bond with him. I will never forget our unforgettable double dates in Niagara Falls and his contagious laugh. I truly have so many memories that I can’t begin to sit here and write them all out. I will forever hold them close my heart.
