Dear Jo, Jim and family. I had the great privilege of teaching and learning with Marnie in the early 1990´s at Irwin Memorial in Dwight. She was our librarian. She was clever, funny, honest and always willing to share an interesting tidbit or word of wisdom. During our carpool rides she marvelled at the simplest changes of the season or could get us laughing uncontrollably. This past summer we visited together on Nancy´s deck and she shared her favourite book titles with me. I am very thankful to have known her and to have spent time in her company. Thinking of all of you. - Andrea

My dear friend who always "walked the talk " and who cared so deeply for others in her community and in her world. Marnie could spin a simple concept into the most amazing unit of study for her students. What a terrific "partner in action" she was in the library / classroom / outdoors settings! Her love of nature --so strong ; I will forever hear her words, "It truly is a miracle you know".
Prayers and love are sent to
Jo, Jim , Patty and Gigi´s Grandchildren.
Paddle on dear Marnie . The winds are in your favour. Jim and Nancy

I was sad to hear of Marnie's passing, but a rush of wonderful memories from our time working together at Irwin Memorial Public School came washing over me making me smile. Her infectious laughter, her smile, her energy, her love of all things reading and her willingness to do all things fun made her a great colleague and friend.
