Maureen SULLIVAN Obituary

Our loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend and cherished wife, Maureen Sullivan passed away with her family by her side on Friday, April 29, 2022, at the age of 69 years. Maureen will be lovingly remembered by her devoted husband and best friend of 48 years, David Wysynski. She will be deeply missed by her children: Sheppard (Jeannine) and K.C. (Andrew); grandchildren: Aimee, Athena, Xavier, Aria, and Violet and, siblings: Patrick (Mary Jane), Shannon (Peter), Timothy (Cathy), sister-in law Diane and brothers-in-law, Allan (Eun Jung) and Michael (Cathy) as well as many loving nieces and nephews and other family members and friends. Maureen was predeceased by her father, Francis Patrick and mother, Jeanne d'Arc, brothers Shep (Sue) and Richard (Daniele), brother-in-law Patrick (Debbie) and mother and father-in-law Alex and Rose. Visitation will be held at P.X. Dermody Funeral Home (796 Upper Gage Ave. Hamilton, ON.) on Friday May 6, 2022, from 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life with green beer and memory sharing will follow at the Hamilton Police Association Hall (Upstairs) at 555 Upper Wellington St., Hamilton ON commencing at 6:00 p.m. The family wishes to send a special thank you to the Critical Care Unit staff at Brantford General Hospital for their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Learning Disabilities Association of Ontario or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
