HOWSE, Melissa Suzanne (nee Burger) Peacefully at her parents' home with family by her side, on Monday, October 22, 2018, in her 45th year. Melissa will be dearly missed by her loving husband Matthew of 20 years, cherished teenaged children Samantha and Joshua. Survived by her parents Warren and Marlene Burger, siblings Scott, Cindy MacDougall (Brian) and sister-in-law Sheila Sloot (Corrie). Special aunt of Brianne, Jake, Sam (Molly), Mac (Jennifer), John and Imogen. Predeceased by her mother-in-law Gail Hare. Lovingly remembered by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Melissa loved life through her activities of reading, swimming, walks with friends, campfires and fall fair demolition derbies. She was an avid baseball and hockey mom. Her love and devotion for her family was only surpassed by her strong faith and love for her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Special thanks to the doctors and nurses of Juravinski Hospital and the Stedman Hospice, Brantford. Friends are invited to call at Ebenezer Christian Reformed Church on Thursday, October 25, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Ebenezer Christian Reformed Church on Friday, October 26th at 1 p.m. Interment Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Fisherville.
