Michael BENDIK Obituary

Passed away peacefully at Burloak Long Term Care on May 4, 2021 at the age of 89. Mike was the beloved husband of Helen Bendik for 35 years. He is predeceased by his first wife, Fran, and will be dearly missed by his sister Irene (Horst) and sister-in-law Nancy.

Mike was a loving father to Nancy (Mike), Lisa (Scott), Cindy (Warren), and Mike (Sharon). Proud grandfather of Ryan (Rachel), Carly (John), Shauna (Andrew), Kyle (Desiree), and Danielle. Great-grandfather to Molly, Maeve, Acadia, Brayden, Jordan, Layla and Daxin.

Mike was a long time executive at Westinghouse Canada. After a short retirement he started his own promotional business, Bendik & Associates. He will be remembered for his love of life. Mike was quick with a welcoming smile and was the consummate host. He loved entertaining with family and friends. He also appreciated being hosted and owned the shrimp ring at every event.

The family would like to extend a very special thank you to the staff at Burloak Long Term Care for the excellent care and kindness over the past 3 years.

A private gathering will take place this weekend.

For those who wish, donations in memory of Mike can be made to Food 4Kids Halton or the Alzheimer Society and would be sincerely appreciated.
