Michael immigrated to Canada in 1969 and settled in Burlington, Ontario. A Master Plumber by trade, he worked at Dofasco in Hamilton venturing off to use his skills and create jobs in the community such as English Rose, the English Handyman, Golf Stuff and Pelican Pools Store. Finding his passion in the outdoors building pools, Michael helped make people's dreams a reality. Pelican Landscaping and Pools has been his life for over 40 years. His clients were like friends and family. His loves were golf, fishing, collecting beach glass, hiking, camping, traveling, biking and people. His dignified manner, kindness and compassion will be missed by everyone's life he touched. Special thanks to the EMT's, Doctors and Nurses at the Welland Hospital. Your efforts, kindness and compassion were greatly appreciated.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place with arrangements entrusted to the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 179 Clarence Street, Port Colborne. There will be a gathering to celebrate his life at a later time.
