Passed away peacefully at the age of 72 on Tuesday, November 23rd at St. Peter's Hospital in Hamilton. He lived with dementia for several years and was diagnosed with throat cancer in June; his family is grateful that he was comfortable and well cared for in his final days. Predeceased by his parents Leonard Denford, Henrietta Crichton, and his son Malcolm Denford, he is survived by his former spouse Aileen, his daughter Lesley Myrick, son-in-law Nathan, and grandchildren Ford and Hasley. Known for his sense of humor, his charisma, and his gregarious nature, Michael enjoyed fishing, motorcycle riding, and watching the History channel. Michael did not want a funeral and will be interred at Bayview Cemetery in Burlington.
