Fr. Mike was in St.Francis Xavier, Carlsruhe for a time when I was a teen there. He shared his mom's love of Paska with us...we had never heard nor seen such Ukrainian foods. He was a enthusiastic speaker sparking many a new change in people's hearts and actions. I recall his great trust in the young people of our parish - allowing 2 of us to record the Sunday offerings in the big book; his wonderful font of information about Guatemala, his passion and his love lay there for the peoples and he imported fabrics from there for us to make skirts and vests (which my mom sewed) and they were the most colourful and quality fabrics!
A more colourful, exciting, wonderful priest I have never met. I'm sure we will never forget him!
Much love and sympathy to the family.
Sincerely
a former parishioner

I met Fr. Mike, when he volunteered with me For Hamilton Out of the Cold. A few years later, he called from St. Joseph's Villa, and we shared many lunchtime visits there. He was a good man. May he be rejoicing in God's loving arms.

Father Mike was a very good friend. I will miss our 'banter' back and forth about everyday life. He had a true gift and an ability to speak with anyone and everyone in a meaningful and sincere way. A very good man indeed who will be missed by many. May he rest in deserved peace.

I am so saddened to hear of Father Mike's passing. I remember a young Fr. Myroniuk at St. Eugene's parish (Hamilton) in the 60s, just before he'd left for the Guatemalan missions.

A great man of the faith who's richly deserved his place in heaven! My condolences to his family and friends here and in the Ukraine.
