Beloved Husband, Brother, Father, Grandfather
Michael was born in 1934 and grew up in a small village in Greece. After marrying Sophia over 60 years ago, the family grew to include 4 sons. The family moved between Greece and Canada, before finally settling in Hamilton where he started and ran a successful business while raising his sons with Sophia. Throughout his life, he worked hard to provide for his family. His wife, and family including kids and grandkids were the most important things to him.
He leaves behind his wife Sophia, who he lovingly cared for at home until his death, his sister Panagoula, his sons Dimitri, Thanassi (Kalliope), Vasili (Brenda) and Ioanni and his grandchildren, Afroditi, Elexa, Anna, Michael, Dimitri, Sophia and Nikki. He will be deeply missed by all including his family, many nieces, nephews and friends.
His family will receive friends at the Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Ave. E. on Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. A funeral Service will take place at Panagia Greek Orthodox Church, 233 East 15th St. on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at 9:30 a.m. followed by interment in Mt.
