Milford SMITH Obituary

SMITH, Milford Lawrence 1926-2019 Born in Northern Ontario, raised and educated in Hamilton. A graduate of McMaster University following military service. Milford and his wife, Margaret (nee Boland, deceased 2017) lived in Mount Hope and Parry Sound before returning to Hamilton. While Milford worked for Westinghouse they travelled in the Middle East. Remembered with love and pride by son Doug, daughter Karen Logan and four families of grandchildren and great-grandchildren: James and Jennifer (Kaylia and Reed), Greg and Kristen (Calleigh, Camryn and Cole), Marianne and Blair Spring (Aria) and Sean and Adele Logan. Cremation has taken place. If desired, donations may be made to The Bob Kemp Hospice.

I remember him being a brother to my grandfather Lee Smith of Sulpher Springs Road in Ancaster . Milford was the business editor of The Hamilton Spectator way back in The Day
