Nancy Lynn VERARDO

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Nancy Lynn Victoria Verardo, age 54, on December 2nd at St. Joseph's Hospital, surrounded by her dearest family - her loving husband, Roy, and adoring children, Joshua, and Victoria. She has been an incredible inspiration to her family, a dedicated supporter of her church and her children, and known for her incredible wit and beautiful laugh. Nancy balanced great fortitude, perseverance, and fearlessness with so much kindness and tenderness and the most endearing splash of humour. She has gone home to be with her Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ, and her late father, Fred Wilson. Nancy has left her loved ones with fond memories and a beautiful example of a life well lived, despite many challenges. She will be remembered for her extraordinary resilience, passion, loving heart, feistiness, patience, and selflessness. Nancy is survived by her mother, Maryanne Wilson, and brother, Jamie (Darlene) Wilson. She will be missed dearly by her beloved pets Milo, Charla, and Granddog Lilli, her sister-in-law, Mary (Pat) Caterini, her many nieces and nephews and their families, by sister-in-law, Edda (Luigi) Martinello and their family, and countless more who she touched with her gorgeous spirit. A memorial service will be held December 10th at Grassie Gospel Church, 504 Mud St W, starting at 11:00 a.m. with reception to follow.
