Nelson HAW Obituary

Neil, of Hamilton, passed away peacefully, with his family by his side, at St. Joseph's Hospital on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at the age of 80. Beloved husband of Sandra (nee Ogden). Loved father of Randy (Mary-Lou) and Dwayne (Trish). Cherished Papa of Jesse (Kriti), the late Cassidy, Cayleigh (Andrew), Emma and Ethan. Predeceased by his parents Chester and Jenny and by his sister Shirley. Also survived by his in-laws and many nieces and nephews. Neil enjoyed his time at the family cottage with many family and friends. He was an avid sportsman, from playing to watching. He was a long-time employee of Domglas/Consumer Glass in Hamilton. Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Avenue Dr., Stoney Creek on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A private family graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2022 at Woodland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Red Cross would be appreciated.

I was saddened to hear to Neil's passing. Although he and Bill did not see one another they still had the cousin bond. My condolences to Sandy and family .
