Norma RIDGE Obituary

Peacefully, at Heritage Green Nursing Home, on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at the age of 85. Beloved wife of Blair for 49 years. Cherished mother of Kevin and his wife Karen, Scott and his wife Theresa. Predeceased by her grandson TJ DuHamel. Will be greatly missed by her 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Anita Parkhouse, Rev. Stanley Parkhouse (late Jean), the late Reg Parkhouse (late Elsie). Norma was a proud teacher with the Hamilton Wentworth District Schoolboard for many years. She had a love for music and enjoyed being the church organist. Friends will be received at the Peoples Church, 510 Mohawk Rd. W., Hamilton on Friday, February 4, 2022, from 11a.m. until the time of Funeral Service at 12p.m. Please visit the Funeral Home website or call 905-662-2948 to register your attendance for visitation and funeral service. Due to limited space availability, visitors will be accepted by scheduled appointment only. Interment to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. My deep condolences to Blair and family. May the Lord comfort and strenghten you. Norma was a beautiful lady. I remember her leading worship and singing beautifully at Peoples Church Hamilton. She also taught me in the Adult Sunday School class. Praying for you.

We send our deepest condolences to Blair and all of the Family in their loss of Dear Norma. She was a Wonderful Woman and a very talented pianist. We wish all of you lots of strength getting through this sad time and our hearts and thoughts are with all of you.

Norma had a gift of music on the church organ. She knew when and what to play during the services that would encourag people to think heavenward. She is rejoicing there now with the Christ whom she loved dearly. Condolences to Blair and family.
