Onorina Miceli

With heavy hearts, surrounded by her loving family, passed away at her home on Saturday, February 26, 2022, at the age 85. Beloved wife of the late Giuseppe "Peppino" for 62 years. Loving mother of Teresa Civitarese (Danny), Peter Miceli (Annette), Cettina Miceli, Massimo Miceli and Laura Giorno (Anthony). Proud Nonna of Daniel (Ana), Robert, Joseph, Michael, Christina, Corina, Tiana, Sebastian, Natalie, Adrian, Georgia, Summer, and Luca. Daughter of the late Beraldo and Rosaria Spadafora. Dear sister of Rosetta Fontana (late Unildo), Linda De Miglio (late Giovanni), Nella Nardi (late Aldo) and predeceased by her brothers, Gaetano Spadafora (late Giuseppina), Aldo Spadafora (Rita) and Aurelio Spadafora (Rosetta). Predeceased by her in laws Francesco and Teresa Miceli. Onorina will also be lovingly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Together with her husband, they were the original owners of Paesano Bakery and Miceli Bakery in Stoney Creek. Onorina dealt with the hardships of life with strength and courage. She will be fondly remembered for her warm and generous spirit, and the gentle way she touched the hearts of all who knew her. Visitation at Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church, 934 Highway #8, Stoney Creek on Saturday March 12, 2022, from 8:30 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. There are no capacity limits but wearing of masks is mandatory. Urn Interment Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery, Stoney Creek. If desired, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to The Good Shepherd Centre would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
