I was Dr. Harvey's patient for 23 years. I just learned about her passing and was shocked by it.
I trusted her blindly (excuse the pun) and enjoyed her direct style.
Toronto and Ontario lost a tremendous asset.

I was thinking about Pat today while speaking to a dear friend who is losing his sight. As our conversation continued I decided to look Pat up on the internet to see if she was still practicing. Sadly, I was directed to her obituary.
Pat was my late mother's Dr. My mother and I couldn't heap enough praise on Pat. She was in a word, AMAZING!! Pat shared her gifts with each patient she saw. She always found a way to instill optimism with each visit. Pat was definitely in her element during her journey with us. Her professional passion was always on display. What a beautiful soul.
Although deeply saddened by the loss, I am tremendously pleased to have had the opportunity to meet with her. My mother so looked forward to her appointments with Pat. My mother passed in December 2019.
I just can't say enough about how wonderful Pat always was.
Rest in Peace Pat, for your journey here has been completed. There are so many souls awaiting your love in heaven. God Bless.

I just heard about the passing of Dr. Patricia Harvey. My annual appointment was canceled but I didn't know why. She was a kind and
excellent doctor. She will be dearly missed. It's comforting to know that she truly served her Lord Jesus Christ. I believe she is resting in the Lord. Rest in peace Dr Patricia.

I have just heard about the death of Dr. Harvey and my condolences to her family. After some thirty years of her services, that kept me from blindness, she was my "Wonder Woman". She was a medical genius with great foresight and determination to advance the medical world, plus a wonderful sense of humor. I am both saddened and shocked by this early passing of a magnificent medical icon.

just discovered Dr Harvey has passed. As a long time patient I am Shocked and saddened. She always took a moment from her busy office schedule to talk about our team the Habs. Never found out if Bettman replied to her letter. I will miss her and I thank her.

I just found out about Dr. Harvey's passing. I was her patient for over 20 years and without her I would not have the vision I have today. She was the best and the world has lost a great person.

So very sorry to hear this - my condolennces to the family. I met Dr. Harvey in 1989 - when I was diagnoased with diabetic retinopathy - she was amazing and remained my specialist for 31 years! She will be very much missed.

I just found out that she passed away today. She was my eye specialist who I treasured knowing and going to. I always looked forward to her smiling face and her laughter as we chatted while she checked on my eyes to make sure they were not getting worse. She was the first person to believe me that my vision issues weren't all in my head.

Our heartfelt condolences to the family. I am so shocked to hear of Dr. Harvey´s passing. She took such good care of my mom for her Macular Degeneration and was able to save some of mom´s sight. So thankful to her for this. She will be sorely missed and we pray that she finds eternal rest in Heaven.

Bless you, yours and fellow practitioners that I know all miss you dearly.
We met in 1993 after I discovered I was diabetic and unfortunately had diabetic retinopathy before I knew how it or diabetes would impact my life and my families.
I´m 72 now and want to thank you your staff and others like Dr Wong at St Michael´s who has also had to leave us too soon. Both of you challenged me when I needed help and along many others have provided so much support.
You are missed by many.

I am so shocked to hear of Pat´s passing.
Pat provided expert care to our daughter for over 33 years from the tender age of 2 until the recent present.
We travelled regularly from Thunder Bay for Pat to assess and treat our daughter helping to preserve as much vision as possible for her as she grew.
She always made our daughter feel comfortable whether it was for an office visit or before her surgical procedures. As a health care provider myself, I recognized and respected her skills and abilities and was aware of how respected she was by her piers.
Such a loss. We will hold memories of her close. Sending prayers.

So incredibly sad to hear this news this morning.
I was a patient of Dr. Patricias since I was two years old and with highly complex vision issues, she took excellent care of me (35+ years) until she retired. Even when she switched to geriatrics, she would still let me come in and see her because she knew me and my history.
Whenever I would go for any other health-related check-ups and people found out that she was my Doctor they always held her in such high regard, noting that I was lucky to be under the care of such an important and talented physician.
This note is simply to thank you for always looking after me and the thousands of other patients you helped to enhance their quality of life.
May you rest in eternal peace and may your friends and family know what an impact you made on the lives of so many.

I am deeply saddened to learn of Dr. Harvey's passing.
I had the privilege of being one of Dr. Harvey's Opthalmology patients for over 40 years.
I am eternally grateful to Dr. Harvey and her colleagues for saving my vision in the only eye I had left. I am reminded of her care, as now I can see every letter I type.

I had the pleasure of working with Pat in the Operating Room at McMaster Hospital in the 80's
as well as her brother John.
I also worked with their Dad Mel at the Hamilton General Hospital from 1973. I remember Pat being so wonderful with all her patients.
