Patricia Kathleen RICE

RICE, Patricia Kathleen (nee Quinlan) It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Pat at Juravinski Hospital in Hamilton, Ontario on Sunday, September 24, 2017. Predeceased by her husband Harold (Geeze). She will be greatly missed by siblings Frankie (Liz), Tom (Mechee) and Clare as well as step daughter-in-law Susan and step grandchildren James, Tanya, and Amanda. Pat's legacy will live on in her nieces and nephews, Michael, Stephanie, Matthew, Shelagh and great-niece and nephews Olivia, Owen, Hayden, and Kieran. Forever in the hearts of her second family, the Bertoncini girls; Linda, Lisa, Dianne, Debbie and Maureen. Pat will especially be missed by Linda, a very long-time and special friend. As a Latin teacher at Saltfleet High School, she was known by her students as Miss Q. In retirement, Pat and Harold spent much of their time either boating on Lake Ontario and Georgian Bay or relaxing at their Bobcaygeon cottage. Many thanks to the nursing staff on E3 and especially to Dr. Holbrook and team at Juravinski Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion.
