Paul Graham "Boo" McDonald

Paul Graham "Boo" McDonald obituary, Hamilton, ON

Paul McDonald Obituary

On a sunny autumn afternoon, Graham passed away peacefully with family at his side at the Juravinski Hospital. He will be dearly missed by Andrea, his wife of 27 years, their children Laurel, Duncan, Malcolm. Predeceased by his parents Margaret and George. Loving son in law to Penny (Peter, deceased). Loving brother to siblings George (Beverly), Christine (Dirk), Jody (Darin), Leslie (Tony). He also was a beloved uncle to Jennifer (Robert), Graham (Rebecca), Zachary, Aaron, Lucas, Noah and Finn. Special friend to Kevin, Sheila and Justin. Will be missed by long time friends Phil, Kenny, Jeff, Danny and Buddy.

Born in Blackburn, Scotland, Graham loved everything Scottish from food to football.

Graham was a skilled tradesman, and worked for more than 25 years with Amann Appliance, who were like family to him.

Anybody who knew Graham knows that he loved people and helping others. His ability to connect with others made Graham a beloved friend to many. Graham was always willing to share a drink(s) or coffee.

Graham had a passion for all things sports, but especially hockey. He was a talented hockey player in his youth, playing on the Dundas junior C's, and Hamilton Kilty B's hockey teams. Later in life he was able to give back to the sport by coaching his son and also giving back and volunteering his time coaching youth hockey in the Hamilton community. Graham was a dedicated supporter of the Toronto Maple Leafs and when not watching hockey, Graham could be found playing 18 holes with his buddies.

Thanks to Juravinski C3 staff, who deserve a medal (and a pay raise), for their dedication and hard work.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Jumpstart Program (https://jumpstart.canadiantire.ca/) or Melanoma Network of Canada (https://www.melanomanetwork.ca/donatetoday/) would be appreciated by the family.
