Paul "Pave" OBROVAC

OBROVAC, Paul ""Pave"" Peacefully passed away on September 4, 2019 at the age of 86 with his loving family by his side. Predeceased by his beloved wife Anka and his brother Josip. Devoted loving Dad to Joe (Kristina), Robert (Cynthia) and Marija. Adored Dida to Sofia, Mate and Asher. He will be deeply missed by his brother Slavo (Bare), and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends in Canada, Croatia and U.S.A. Paul was a devoted family man who loved spending time at the cottage with his family and his dog Victor. He will be remembered for always having an open home, great meals, fun times, hard work ethic and the love he had for Hrvatska and Canada. The smile Paul always had for his Grandkids will never be forgotten as they brought him ultimate happiness. Volimo te zauvijek Tata i Deda! Thanks to the staff at Macassa Lodge and Juravinski Hospital - ICU for their outstanding care and compassion. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Canadian Lung Association. Visitation will be held at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME , 1774 King Street E. (at Kenilworth) on Sunday, September 8th from 4-8 p.m. with Vigil Prayers at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Cross Croatian Church, 1883 King St. E on Monday, September 9th at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
