Pauline ETHERINGTON Obituary

ETHERINGTON, Pauline Cecilia (nee Kothe) Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 Joseph Brant Hospital, Burlington in her 88th year. Pauline, beloved wife of the late Leslie Etherington (2010). Dear mother of Jane Etherington, Moira Etherington (Joe Sebastiao) and the late Sheila Joan Etherington. Cherished grandmother of Colin, Emma and Sarah and extended grandchildren Alyssa and Ryan. Her pride and joy. Pauline will be sadly missed by Fred Etherington (late Sheila) and family, David and Laura Kothe and friends. She is predeceased by her brother Malcolm and sister-in-law Lily Kothe and niece Deborah Kothe, and brother-in-law Raymond Etherington. Pauline was a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary Royal Canadian Legion Branch 60, and a member of Royal Canadian Legion Branch 60. Pauline was a business owner of Paules Fashions and will be remembered for her love of knitting, crocheting, travelling and sitting on her deck admiring her garden. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street (one block north of City Hall), BURLINGTON, 905-632-3333 on Monday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. where a Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at 1 p.m. Reception to follow at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 60. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Alzheimer Society or the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 60 would be greatly appreciated by the family. Special thank you to the staff at Joseph Brant Hospital and especially palliative care nurse Dorothy who made mom's transition so peaceful. ""Reunited with Dad at last""
