Raffaele IANNONE Obituary

IANNONE, Raffaele Peacefully at St. Joseph's Hospital surrounded by his loving family on June 7, 2018 in his 91st year. Beloved husband of Assunta (nee Stravato) for 62 years. Loving father of Joanna and Randy Nicol and Tino and Denise Iannone. Cherished nonno of Luke, Maxton and Abbey Rose. Dear brother and brother-in-law of the late Domenic and the late Marianna Iannone, the late Arcangelo and Assunta Iannone, the late Angela and the late Antonio Pietrobuono, the late Pasquale and Amelia Stravato, the late Nicola and the late Maria D'Agostino, the late Giovanni and the late Pierina D'Alessio, the late Giovanni and Lina Stravato, Antonio and Felicia Stravato and Salvatore and Angela Stravato. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends and is now reunited with his Compari Folco and Berta Lepore. Special thank you to all the doctors and nurses at St. Joseph's Hospital for all their care and compassion. Raffaele was a proud Union Member for Local 837 for over 50 years. He was a wonderful father, grandfather, loyal and true friend to all and he will be dearly missed by his family. Resting at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL ; 43 Barton St. E., on Monday, June 11 from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Vigil prayers on Monday at 4 p.m. Funeral Mass will be offered at Cathedral Basilica of Christ the King on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at 11 a.m. Entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In kindness, donations to St. Joseph's Hospital or charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
