Ralph Cameron Obituary

With his loving family by his side, mercifully on April 12 - 2023, Ralph was released from his burden of pain. Highly respected in his career, Ralph led industrial piping designers in several industries, ranging from steel making to petrochemical to nuclear power. A baritone soloist for years with the Canadian Orpheus Male Choir, Ralph's rich plummy voice could have been his primary career. Volunteering for the CNIB, the John Laing Singers, Hamilton's Literacy initiative, Out of the Cold, Community Living Burlington and President of his condo board for seven years, Ralph was always helping others. Ralph loved art, nature, history and he travelled extensively. His family would like to thank Carma MacKenzie, Dr. Guckian, Dr. Darcel, Dr. Matsumoto, Dr. Lalani, Dr. Tsakiritis, Dr. Quinlan, Dr. Gupta, Dr. Soliman, Dr. Alex and all the nurses and technicians who helped Ralph at Juravinski, St. Joseph's and St. Peter's Hospitals as well as at home. A celebration of life will be held and live-streamed at Central Presbyterian Church Hamilton on Sunday April 30 - 2023 at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the War Amps or Central Presbyterian Church. Rest in Peace my Prince.

Dear Melodie, Sarah, Beth and families as well as all the Pritchard families,
Our heartfelt condolences for your loss. I will miss my dear friend and colleague of forty years. All those many luncheons together discussing a variety of topics from Engineering designs, personal experiences and of course politics. He expressed many times that life to him was about the friendship he surrounded himself with and he certainly had many friends. His spirit is paving the way for all of us to join him when it becomes our turn to leave this wonderful world. May you rest in peace my dear friend.

Thanks Melodie. Lovely obituary - to explain what he meant to you, family and friends, and write about all the wonderful things about him is impossible in an obituary, but we know. May all your memories, and knowing he is no longer in pain, bring comfort to you. Sending much love and giant hugs. Kathy, Herb and Family
