Ralph VELD Obituary
The Lord called home His child, Ralph Veld on October 14, 2021 in his 85th year. Surrounded by his family at St. Joseph's Hospital, in Hamilton. Beloved husband of Helen Veld (Zwier) and cherished father of, Grace & Pete DeHaan, Ken & Cindy, Brenda & Kevin Jansen, Rick & Tammy and Wayne & Karen. Dear Grandfather of forteen and Great Grandfather of seventeen. Ralph was the son of the late Klaas & Grietje Veld. Predeceased by two infant brothers. He is lovingly remembered by his siblings, Ben & Elly, Gerrit & Rosina, Jane & Pete, Henry & Margaret, Margaret & Bert, and his in laws, (John, deceased) & Joanne, (Klaas & Catherine, both deceased), Alice & Bob as well as many nieces and nephews. Friends and family are welcome to visit at the Maranatha Christian Reformed Church, (33 King Ave. York, Ontario, N0A 1R0) on Sunday, October 17, 2021 from 5 - 8p.m. A private graveside committal service will take place on Monday, October 18, 2021 in Sinclairville United Church Cemetery, followed by a Celebration of life Ceremony (where all are welcome), in the Maranatha Christian Reformed Church, York, ON, at 1p.m. Please visit [email protected] for streaming information.
