Ramzi Najib TWAL

TWAL, Ramzi Najib Peacefully, at St. Peter's Hospital on January 6, 2019, Ramzi left this world, just short of his 73rd birthday. Beloved husband of 42 years to Bernadette (nee Shebib), loving father to Nageeb (Audrea) and Jiddo to the apple of his eye, Nailah. Born in Jerusalem, Palestine, and of Jordanian heritage, Ramzi was a proud citizen of Canada for over 50 years. Throughout his life, Ramzi was a champion of many social and political causes fighting for the less fortunate, be they victims of poverty, domestic violence, war, or political oppression. Ramzi was also an active member of the Hamilton Central Lions Club for over 20 years, serving two terms as President. A lifelong salesman, Ramzi found his passion later in life selling commercial real estate and recently counted his 25th year as a member of the Hamilton Realtors Association. The family would like to extend their deepest thanks to the staff of 3-West at St. Peter's Hospital in Hamilton who helped Ramzi pass his declining days in happiness and comfort. Visitation will be held at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME (1919 King St. E. between Rosedale and Cochrane) on Friday, January 11th from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, January 12th at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations to the St. Peter's Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
