It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Raymond Gagne in his 78th year on June 4th 2022 with his wife Lillian by his side. He leaves behind his children, Luc (Roberta), Richard (Jacqueline), Monique (Trevor). His grandchildren, Tori Ann (Corey) Ferreira, Jesslyn (Travis) Misaley, Kaitlyn & Jenna Midgley, his great grandchildren Mayson & Reid Ferreira, Wyatt and Raelyn Misaley. Predeceased by his father Aurele, mother Gerarda Bertrand Gagne and brothers Geatan, Claude Gagne, Gilles Gagne and Paul Gagne. He leaves behind his brothers, Patrick (Gaby) Gagne, Sturgeon Falls, Gerard (Claudette (dec) Gagne, Strathroy, Pierre Gagne, Cache Bay, Rheal (Micheline) Gagne, Thunder Bay. His sisters, Huguette (Guy) Cote, BC, Lucille (Marcel) Dignard, Verner, Nicole Archambault (Ron Lagace), Sturgeon Falls, Anita (Yvon) Charles Hamner, Pierrette (Pierre) Trudel, Quebec. He will be missed by all those he touched.
Ray worked at Stelco for 37 yrs, Member of Notre Dame du Perpetuel Secours Parish, member of Notre Dame Knight of Columbus also Notre Dame Golden Age. He loved to coach hockey, play golf, go fishing and gardening.

Family will receive family and friends at Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Ave., East on Friday June 10th, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Vigil at 8:15 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at Notre Dame du Perpetuel Secours, Saturday, June 11th at 10:30 a.m. with cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers donation to Alzheimer Society Hamilton or to Paroisse Notre Dame to Perpetuel Secours.
