His integrity, good and caring nature, kindness to all, stand out in our memories. The obituary says so rightly that we were all better for having known him.

I had the great honour of working with Richard over the past two years. He wished to commemorate his late wife Dee with the planting of flowers, and the care of the gardens they both had enjoyed growing together. His kindness was immense. I looked forward to our visits every week, and enjoyed our chats. He had such great stories, and always showed so much passion, care, and advice in whatever we would discuss. I will remember my time with him always.

We were saddened to hear of Dick´s passing. He was always such a kind man and a wonderful neighbour. We enjoyed working with him and Dee and loved tending to their beautiful gardens. He will be greatly missed. Our deepest condolences to the entire family and to all those who knew Dick well. Our thoughts are with you.

I worked with Dick as his assistant from the age of 17 until he retired. Dick was my mentor.....I admired and respected him always. He treated his staff as family and always stayed in touch over his retirement years. I feel I have lost an important family member. May God Bless him.
