Richard Henry Joseph LUBERA

Passed away peacefully at St. Joseph's Hospital on Saturday, February 18, 2023, at the age of 83. Loving husband of Halina for 59 wonderful years. Devoted father of Susan (Stephen Lewis). Predeceased by his loving daughter Katherine. Loving Dziadgi to Ryan, Michael, and Christopher. He will be missed by his extended family, neighbours, and friends. Richard was a man of faith who was proud of his family and his tradesmanship as a member of UA Local 67 Plumbers and Pipefitters for over 55 years. He loved his hockey, especially the Toronto Maple Leafs, fishing, woodworking and WWF Wrestling and we cannot forget his enthusiasm trying to win the BIG ONE on his scratch tickets. A loving husband, father and Dziadgi, he will be dearly missed by all of those who knew and loved him. Special thank you to those in ER, 6 Gastro, OR and ICU for all their compassion and excellent care. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Luke's Roman Catholic Church, 200 Mount Albion Road on Thursday, February 23, 2023, at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Luke's Church or The Good Shepherd Centre would be appreciated.
