Richard Secord Obituary
Rick was a devoted husband to Fran for 51 years and loving father to Richard (Kelly) and a very proud grandfather to Nathan, Maddie, Julianna, Olivia and Jordan
He will be missed by his brother Barry (Connie), sister Debbie (John), also his in-laws Dawn, Ginette (Claude), Denise, Donald and Ray (Moe) and many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was a very talented person. He excelled in art and woodworking. He mastered anything he put his mind to. He loved birds and animals and sitting outside with his dog companion Jack with a cup of coffee.
Rick started to struggle with health issues at a very young age and always had a positive attitude.
As per Rick's wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, please consider contributions to Stedman Community Hospice, Brantford or the Brantford SPCA.

I know this is ridiculously late but for whatever reason I was thinking about Rick. I started work at the city with Rick many years ago and although we only worked together occasionally I always liked Rick. Just an honest straight shooter kind of guy. He is missed. He might be gone but not forgotten. God Bless

Fran, I am not sure you will remember me. I knew your sister Denise and family when we were kids. I recall you and Rick being inseparable. I hope you find peace in all the wonderful memories you must have of him. My condolences.
