Rick CAMPS Obituary

The family sadly announces the passing of Rick David Camps on Thursday, March 30, 2023, while in the shortened care of Idlewyld Manor. A special thank you to the staff of Idlewyld Manor for the care Rick received during his time there. Predeceased by his loving wife (life-time partner) Ann Garrison of 30 years, his Mother Winnifred and Sister Theresa Ann. Survived by his brother Jim Camps and his family, sister-in-law Margaret DePaolo (Joseph). Uncle to Jennifer (Peter), Sarah (Silvio) and Deanna (Paul). Great Uncle to Dominic, Roman, Francesco and Shyla. Rick was a long-time member of the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum; his love of planes was shown throughout his life especially towards the "Lancaster" of which he had the pleasure of taking flight once and Rick has now taken his final flight in life. Rick contributed to many charities. If desired a memorial contribution may be made to the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum or Hamilton-Burlington SPCA.
In respect of Rick's wishes a private burial has taken place at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery.
