Robert L. ARMIT

ARMIT, Robert L. Passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends, on Sunday, November 18, 2018 in his 88th year. Bob leaves behind his devoted and loving wife, Mary (May) Armit of 64 years of marriage. Loving father to Alison and Catherine (Steve). He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Ryan Ramsay and Melissa Ramsay-Parry (Teresa). Bob is predeceased by his brothers William (Billy) and Adam, and his sister, Nan. After emigrating from Scotland in 1951, followed by his soon to be wife (May) in 1953, Bob always spoke fondly of his beloved Scotland. He had a passion for golf and sports cars and enjoyed many hobbies including archery, target shooting and model trains, to name a few. Bob was a Past Worshipful Master of Wardrope Lodge 555, G.R.C. where he was a Mason since 1955. In keeping with Bob's wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family Celebration of Life will take place soon. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society.
