Robert HARRISON Obituary

Peacefully with loving family members at his side Robert (Bob) Joseph Harrison passed away at Hamilton's St. Joseph's Hospital on Sunday September 25, 2022, in his 97th year. Beloved Husband to his wonderful, departed Bride Joan (2012) for 65 years. Loving Father of John and Nancy, Jay and Laurel, Marianne and Brian Moar and Leslie and Ken Nieradka. Much loved Grandfather of Scott Harrison (Emily), Brianne Moar, Laura (Jamie) Barnes, Lauren Harrison (Peter), Justin Moar (Katie), and Sean (Julie) Harrison. Very Proud Great-Grandfather of Gia and Wyatt Moar, Isaac, Bonnie, and Malcolm Barnes and Mackenzie Moar. Resident of Ancaster since 1950 and parishioner of St. John's Anglican Church in Ancaster. Visitation will take place on Friday, October 14th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 796 Upper Gage Ave, Hamilton. Funeral Service at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 15th at ST. JOHN'S ANGLICAN CHURCH, Wilson Street E. at Halson, Ancaster. Interment in St. John's Churchyard. Reception to follow. The family would like to extend their Great Appreciation to the wonderful, caring staff at Highgate Residence of Ancaster and to the Palliative Staff at St. Joseph's Hospital. Memorial donations to the Hamilton Health Sciences Foundation (Cardiovascular & Stroke Program) St. John's Anglican Church or a Charity of your choosing. Share memories at www.dermodys.com

I had the pleasure of working with Bob for many years as well as having contact outside work.
We always had an excellent connection, and we also had connections with John & Leslie.

I wish to extend my family's condolences to all of you- my late wife Carolyn always had fond memories of "gatherings" with Bob, Joan & their family at various times, and Bob & Joan always were very open & helpful to us when we moved to Ancaster.
We know that they are finally reunited- rest in peace, Bob.
