Robert Howarth Obituary

It is with great sadness that the family of Robert Howarth (Bob) announce his passing in his 92nd year. Bob will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 66 years, Margaret (nee McInnes) and his children, Ellyn (Rod Lennox), Tom (Nanci), Kathleen (Bruce Hale), Patti (Mike Costigan), David (Terri) and John (Nancy). Bob will also be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Andrew, Rachel, Mark, Ryan, Sean, Robert, Lucas, Cristina, Graem and Rianna. Cherished brother-in-law of Pat and Diane. He will also be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends. Over the years he enjoyed meeting many people through his business, Quality Ware Distributors. Bob was a kind and gentle man who devoted his life to his family. We will miss him dearly. Due to Covid 19, cremations services were held and a Memorial Service for Robert will take place at a later date. Funeral arrangements entrusted to P.X. Dermody Funeral Home. My sister Lee, daughter Rebecca and I knew Robert and his family from Regina Gardens where our Mom & Grandmother lived for the last two years. We always loved to see him when we went over to visit and would stop and say hello. We loved to see his eyes light up and that wonderful smile appear each time. We were saddened to hear of his passing. Please accept heartfelt condolences from the family of Terry Gowers.

I remember Bob Howarth as a kind, loving, and humorous dad of my dear and life long friend Patti, his daughter. I have many memories spending evenings in my youth with this wonderful family around their dinner table laughing and feeling the love ever present in this home.
