Peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Sunday March 20, 2022, in his 94th year. Beloved husband of the late Margaret McDougall (1997). Dear father of Robert and his wife Lynda of Stoney Creek and son Bryan of Tennessee. Devoted grandpa of Mandy (Alex), Steven (Kathryn) and Ken. Dear great grandpa of Jack. Predeceased by his sisters Marion, Bernice and Doraine. Robert was born and raised in Stoney Creek, the second generation of McDougall's Garage on King St E, Stoney Creek and retired as District Chief, Stoney Creek Fire Department. Mickey will be sadly missed by many friends especially the "crib club" at the garage. Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME 36 Lake Ave. Stoney Creek on Wednesday from 5 until 8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Thursday March 24 at 1:30 p.m. Interment to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. Notes of sympathy and condolence may be left at www.donaldvbrown.ca
