MECH, Robert (Bob) Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family at St. Peter's Hospital on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Jean (Rosehart). Loving father of Michelle Budzey (Kevin), Lisa Cummings (Paul) and Tom Mech (Tammy). Cherished Papa to Nicole, Rachel, Emily, Ethan, Ella, Abbygale, Evelyn, Jacquie, Kyle, Justin and Kirsten. Bob will be dearly missed by many relatives and friends. Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Anne Mech, his brothers Walter, Joseph and his in-laws Paul, Edna Rosehart and sister Marilyn Rosehart. Bob's enjoyment for the game of golf led him to create his own business, Electronic Caddy Shack, where he taught golf and sold and serviced electronic caddy carts. He was also a life time member of the Polish Mutual Benefit and Friendly Society. Friends are invited to share their memories of Bob with his family on Monday, October 22, 2018 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at DODSWORTH & BROWN FUNERAL HOME ANCASTER (378 Wilson St. E.). A Funeral mass will take place on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church Ancaster (11 Wilson St. W.). A special thank you to Dr. Harvey and nurses Marlene Jackson, Kristen and Nathan at the Juravinski Cancer Centre and Dr. Bev Hattersley and nurses Peter and Virgina at St. Peter's Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Canadian Cancer Society or St. Peter's Hospital would be greatly appreciated by the family.
