Robert Chalmers "Bob" NEIL

NEIL, Robert ""Bob"" Chalmers Peacefully at Joseph Brant Hospital, Burlington, with his daughter by his side on Monday, February 4, 2019 in his 100th year, Robert Neil, beloved husband of the late Nettie Neil (nee Murchie) (April 2002). Loving father of Robert Neil, Janette Butcher and the late Eleanor May (August 1958). Predeceased by his brothers James and David Neil and by his sister Mary Carswell. Much loved grandfather of Rob Neil, Christopher Butcher and the late Susan Neil (2017). Bob loved all his great-grandchildren and was especially blessed to play an instrumental role in Davyn Butcher's life. Robert was a former employee of George Weston Limited and the Burtch Correction Centre; was a life member of the Masonic Lodge, Ayr Scotland; was a veteran of World War II and fought entirely in Burma therefore a member of the Burma Star Association. Family and friends will be received at the McCLEISTER FUNERAL HOME , 495 Park Road North, Brantford on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. Interment at Mt.
