Ronald Sim Obituary

With a breaking heart, I let you know that my wonderful husband has passed on Monday, June 13th. He was a brave warrior, who fought the battle valiantly for three long years. He leaves behind his best friend and soulmate Lynn (Partington), his children Norman (Dolly), Scott (Lise), James (Breanne), Kyle (Shelby), and Katie (Shane). His grandchildren Damon, Alexandra, Chloe, Thomas, Jack, Gwen, Luke Morrison and great-grandson Maddox. His brother-in-law and sister-in-law Mark and Cicily Partington. He is predeceased by his parents James (Red) and Stasha Sim, his brother and sister-in-law James and Elsie Sim and his grandson Christopher Sim, whom he adored. He leaves behind many loving and devoted nieces and nephews. I am overwhelmed by the messages and calls of sympathy for Ron, who was a gentle giant with a huge heart. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Ron's name to either The Wounded Warriors Canada or [email protected] (animal rescue). A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 9th from 12 to 4 at the Royal Canadian Legion in Bradford Branch #521.

I just read the Spectator obituary for Ron. He was such a character and loved by everybody. I will be at the service in Bradford. We will sure miss him at Christmas at Cis and Mark's. He did so much in his life. Laura.

Sad to hear of Ron´s passing. Roger and Ron were friends for many years personally, and as wrestling buddies. They enjoyed many good chats at the Mandarin. We pray they meet again in heaven. Our deepest condolences.
