Rose Guida

It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Rose at Arbour Creek Care Centre, Hamilton on March 22, 2022 in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of the late Salvatore (October 2021) for 54 years, and loving daughter of the late Josephine and Vincenzo Marino. Loving mother of Angela Miceli (Vincenzo), Samuel (Antonella) and Anthony (Sheena). Nonna's legacy continues through her adoring grandchildren Sophia, MarcAnthony, Giulia, Simona, Jacob, and Ella. Predeceased by her in-laws Angela and Luigi Guida, brothers, and sister. Rose will be dearly missed by her cousins and extended family in Italy.

Rose will be fondly remembered for being a passionate cook and having family together around the dinner table. Her favourite pastimes were reading, watching her daily soap operas, sharing a cup of coffee with her neighbours, listening to AM740 on her "little radio" and weekly shopping adventures at HomeSense or Winners.
Most importantly, she was devoted to her family, especially her grandchildren who brought her the utmost joy.

Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 454 Highway #8 (east of Millen Road) STONEY CREEK (905-664-4222) on Monday, March 28, 2022 from 5-8 p.m. Prayer Vigil at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Incarnation of Our Blessed Lord, 400 Pottruff Road (Barton & Nash), Hamilton on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. Private Interment Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery, Stoney Creek. The family respectfully requests that masks be worn while indoors to protect the health and safety of family and guests. In kindness, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
