November 27, 1952 - April 4, 2022
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Roy Philip (Sugar) Bennett on April 4, 2022, at the Hamilton General Hospital after a brief illness. Roy was in his 70th year. He leaves behind his son Sean and good friend Darelle of Hamilton, his sibs Colin, John, Brenda and Linda and their families, all of England. Predeceased by his mum and dad, Betty, and Leonard, also of England. Cremation has taken place. There will be a Celebration of Roy's life at the Winking Judge in Hamilton at a future date to be determined. Immeasurable thanks to friend Gerry Morrow for his help and kindness. Grateful thanks to all the ICU nurses and doctors who provided stellar care, an HGH tradition. Donations are welcomed to the Hamilton General Hospital. In keeping with Roy's wishes, cremation has taken place and no service will be held. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Bay Gardens Funeral Home.

My condonlences on your loss. Roy was a funny and great man use to have long conversations at the construction house with Roy when we worked on blueprints
