Ruth McKEEN Obituary

Peacefully at Gardenview L.T.C. Townsend on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 in her 98th year. Wife of the late Jack Leslie McKeen (1995). Loving mother of Jim and Diane, David, Jane and the late Jim MacLeod, Kathy and Earl Jamieson and the late Phil Smith, Jack and Lenore and the late Bev, Peter and Kelly, and Sandra and Bill Roth. Dear grandmother of Jeff, late Jason, Matt, Kevin, Linda, Doug, Kelly, Bryan, Cory, Valerie, Chris, Caroline, Tiffany, and 18 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren. Sister of the late Pete and Sally, Gordon and Peg, and Jack and Jean. Sister-in-law of the late Jenny Maude, Lola, Irma, Bill and Marj, Mabel and Harry, Marion and Cliff, and Jimmy. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Ruth was a lifelong member of the Rebekah Lodge and St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church. The family will honour her life with visitation at Hyde and Mott Chapel of R.H.B. Anderson Funeral Homes Ltd., 60 Main St. S., Hagersville on Thursday, May 12, 2022 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon followed by the funeral service in the chapel at 1 p.m. Interment Hagersville Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Gardenview Long Term Care Home, and Rebekah Lodge. Our family would like to express our most sincere and heartfelt thanks to all the staff of Gardenview. Their compassion, care and love of mum shows what incredible staff they have. And a special thanks to Dr. Drijber for wonderful care to mum over the last 7 years.
