Suddenly passed peacefully in his sleep on Friday, August 26, 2022. Loving husband of Bethany Tilstra and proud father of Claira Tilstra and a second child due in 2023. Beloved son of Bruce (Sarah) Tilstra and Barbara Tilstra. Son-in-law of Arlene and her late husband Rob Turcotte and Brady and Carolyn Horne. Grandson of the late Elsie Tilstra-Tiersma, the late Glen Tilstra, the late Jetse Tiersma, the late Elva, and the late Allan Barclay, Joanne and the late Garfield Horne and Edna and the late Roger Traver. Brother of Bobbi (P.J.) MacArthur and brother-in-law of Aaron (Brianne) Horne, Marie (Daniel Gosselin) Horne, and Emily (Cameron) Babiy. Ryan was a loving uncle to ten nieces and nephews. Ryan along with his wife Bethany was the founder and owner of Azule Kitchens in Stoney Creek and as a team were working toward their dream as true partners, focussing on building a future for their family. Friends are invited to call at BALLARD MINOR FUNERAL HOME, 315 Broad Street East, Dunnville, on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, from 5-8 p.m. The funeral service for Ryan will be held at Bethel Christian Reformed Church, 17 Robinson Road, Dunnville, on Thursday, September 1 at 10 a.m. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery, Dunnville. If desired, donations to Brain Injury Canada or Hamilton Health Sciences Foundation (Brain Injury) would be appreciated by the family.
