SFERRAZZA, Salvatore (Sam) Peacefully at St. Joseph's Hospital on Saturday, January 6, 2018 in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of the late Antonia (Campisi). Loving father of Maria Sferrazza (Nick Pellegrino), Angelo Sferrazza, and Lillian (Jim) Cathcart. Cherished Nonno of Michelle, Julie (Jeff Stout), Jonathon, Calissa, Callum and bis-nonno of Bennett and Maisie. Predeceased by his parents Angelo and Maria Sferrazza. Dear brother and brother-in-law of the late Stephaine and the late Alfonso Chuido, the late Rosa and the late Angelo Agro, the late Calogero Sferrazza, Giovanni Sferrazza (Giacchina), the late Alfonso Sferrazza (Pina), the late Giuseppe Sferrazza (Rosa), Carmelo Sferrazza (the late Alfonsa) (Ada Damiani), the late Luigi (the late Gayleen), Teresa Sferrazza, Angelo Sferrazza (Lena), Maria La Mantia (Giuseppe), the late Bruno Campisi (the late Lena), the late Tom Campisi (Shirley), Concetta Castiglione (the late Salvatore), and, the late Florence Falbo (Natale). Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends in Canada, Italy, and Belgium. The family would like to thank the staff of St. Joseph's Hospital for the care and compassion shown to Salvatore and his family. Visitation at the FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton Street East (near James Street) on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. and Wednesday, January 10, 2018 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Vigil Prayers Wednesday at 7 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be offered at Regina Mundi Church on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Our Lady of Victory Mausoleum, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Burlington, Ontario. If desired memorial donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
