EYDT, Samuel Eustace Passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital as a result of complications from pneumonia on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at the age of 76. Beloved husband of Carol Eydt. Loving father of Sam Eydt (Donna), Cheryl Miller (James) and Ryan Eydt. Stepfather of K.J Ahearn-Kimball and Michael Ahearn. Predeceased by his daughter Laura Lea Hanson-Jay (2009). Cherished grandfather of Shane, Tony, Kenny, Steven, Samantha, Victoria, Paige and Evan and great grandfather of Skyler, April, Searra. Sam will be dearly missed by his siblings Jim (Ann), Lil and Patty. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Gathering for family and friends will be held at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Thursday, May 30, 2019 from 4- 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Sam are asked to please consider the Canadian Cancer Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation. www.smithsfh.com
