Sandra SMITH Obituary
We are heartbroken by the loss of our wife, mother and grandmother at home after Succumbing to COPD in her 69th year. Beloved wife of Robert Smith for 49 years. Loving mother of Brandy (Erich), Brad and Sarah. Cherished grandma of Riley, Madeline and Dean. Predeceased by her parents William and Lorraine Curtis, brother Michael (Sue) and sister Jean Curtis. Survived by sisters Lois Southern (Fred) and Joanne Beckwick (Jim). Sister in law to James Smith (Marg), Ted Smith, Bruce Smith, Carol Wylie (late Ron), Peggy Tait (late Harold) Judy Avery (Carl), Betty Gates (Brad), Donna Barkovich (late Emric), Colleen Smith (deceased) and Ruth Robbins (Anthony). Our family is very thankful for the wonderful care provided by the PSW's, RN Vanessa and especially Doctor Juriansz. Sandra's wishes were to be cremated and to have a private family internment at Chapel Hill memorial gardens where she will be with her parents. Internment to take place at a later date.

My mom was the most incredible kind and strong person ive ever known. She taught me how to be the mom i became and i still do not compare to the mom and grandma she always was. I have never met anyone that had the love she did for my three kids and we all miss her dearly. I love you mom...love Sarah, Riley, Madeline and Dean

It's with great sadness I get this very sad news the passing of a very kind soul aunt sandy will be missed deeply by so many ! My condolences to cousin brad,brandy and Sarah may your moms soul rest in peace and the memory of her live on through all of you ! May every tear be a memory I will say a prayer next time I'm at the angel wings glacier in memory of her kindness and huge heart !
