Sandro Giulietti Obituary
Sandro was the beloved best friend, life partner and unrelenting personal comedian to Yolanda for 40 years. Best dad and comrade to Daniela & Dave, Gabriella & Brandon. #1 biggest fan and proud Nonno to 'passerotto' Sebastian. Eldest son of Francesca "tough as nails" Giulietti and the late Angelo. Favourite son-in-law of Carmelina Cannella and the late Sam. Big Brother to Rita & Andy, Rosina & Mike, Lina and Joe. Chosen brother to Paul & Adriana, Maria & Bill, Jeff and Eddie. A loyal friend to many more.

Sandro was a fiercely loving grumpy old man. His great taste in music and culinary skill will be missed by many. He loved to read about history, travel and popular education. He was banned from facebook more than once for threatening fascists and calling for death to billionaires. He had an unmatched, irreverent sense of humour even in the toughest of circumstances.
On the day of his passing, he and Yolanda went to their favourite local shop, The Lighthouse, to buy seedlings for their annual epic garden. He spent the previous days with his grandson, basking in the late spring sun. His last words to family were ones of humour and love.
Cremation has taken place, as per Sandro's wishes. Visitation will be held from 5pm - 7pm on Thursday, May 19th, at Friscolanti Funeral Chapel. Come masked & vaccinated or send virtual wishes to the family.
Yolanda and family extend their gratitude to the incredible medical professionals: Paramedics, Firefighters, Nurses & Doctors at the General Hospital who deployed heroic measures to try to save Sandro's life. Public healthcare is sacred and worth voting orange to protect.
Donations can be made to the Bay Area Restoration Council in Sandro's honour, and the family will coordinate the installation of a memorial bench at his beloved Bayfront.

Yolanda, Gabby, Daniela & family - I was heartbroken to learn of Sandro's passing and only heard about the news today. I still have childhood memories of the many wonderful days and nights spent at your home on the mountain filled with laughs and delicious meals around the kitchen table. I will always remember Sandro fondly and am sending you all love, hugs, comfort.

Today I learned about the loss of your beloved Husband, Sandro. I am deeply sorry for you and your family. I understand a loss like this is heartbreaking.
