To Paul & daughters & niece, and to Greg & family: I was so saddened to hear today of Shelley´s passing. I knew her from grade & high school, and SMM church. Shelley was always such a cheerful optimist, and I greatly admired her strength and bravery. Her loss will be felt always. Please accept my sincere condolences and prayers for the repose of Shelley´s soul. May you all eventually find some peace in your grief.

This is sad news and my condolensces go out to her family. My memories go back to St Margaret Mary School and Brebeuf High School. Our paths crossed a few times at church, track & field, hockey rinks and she was always proud of her family. Shelley is someone I am glad to have known and I will miss dearly.
Sincerely,
Chris Rowles & Family

Mrs. Kelly was my first grade teacher at Our Lady of Peace and I will always remember her kindness, patience, and the joy she brought to learning. As a teacher, I hope I can live up to the example she set. My condolences to her family.

Paul, Alannah, Michaela and Siobhan,
Having known Shelley since high school, I am so grateful for her friendship of more than 40 years. I honestly have so few memories of her where she wasn't laughing. Even over the last 15 years of her illness she tried to focus on staying positive. There are very few people who could do that with all she went through but somehow she managed it. She fought so long and so hard to stay with you all...she was a true warrior, a true friend & a true inspiration. She will be missed dearly by all of us who were fortunate to know and love her. May the memories of her love & laughter bring you much solace.

Dear Paul, Alannah, Michaela and Siobhan
Your wife and mother was such a wonder person; so kind, always a smile, such a great sense of humor, and a great friend. May you be comforted by the memories.
I will never forget you Shelley. May you rest in peace.

Mr. Kelly & his girls,
I am so so sorry to hear of your loss. I remember Shelley most vividly smiling back at me at church, from I was a baby till a young girl, & the light & love of life that shone from her eyes. May the beautiful memories sustain you through the devastation of grief. Sending love & prayers to you all during this difficult time. I couldn´t see this notice & not write something, Mr. Kelly being one of my favourite teachers & having been through the loss of a parent myself. God bless you all & Shelley´s soul.

It's really difficult for me to put in a few sentences all of the happy memories I have shared with Shelley. I can still remember the first day I met her after her interview at Our Lady of Peace. That day started a great friendship and continued for over 30 years. We had such a fun time teaching together. In the past few months we got to sit and talk about the fun times and the good ol days . I will cherish those memories. Rest in peace my dear friend. I will miss you dearly.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Shelly was the greatest teacher to both my children (Daniela and Michael) She was like a mother to both of them and it made me feel comfortable knowing that they were in great hands. We became more like friends then teacher/parent. She will always be remembered. To Alannah (banana) a big hug from Michael. we will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers.

Shelley, we will all miss you so very much. You were my friend for over 40 years. Throughout that time we had so many laughs - most recently with you and the girls driving around in the Jeep with the top down! You were a great person who fought the hard fight and you are a winner. You leave behind a beauty family ready to carry on your legacy. Rest well my friend with the angels. Xox
