Solange Pelchat Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the very sudden passing of Solange "Sue" Pelchat on Friday, May 26th, 2023 at the age of 74 after a very hard battle with lung complications. She battled it courageously and fiercely to the very end. Sue will be dearly missed by her loving husband and best friend of 53 years, Florent (Gilles). Sue and Florent both came to Ontario from Quebec in their younger years. They found each other and quickly fell in love. They built a loving home together and started a family here in Hamilton. Sue loved her children, Jody and Alain with her whole heart. Being a spouse, mother and grandmother were her most rewarding accomplishments. She will be missed by her beloved grandchildren, Alli and Ryli and by many more family, friends and neighbours. Her memory and spirit will not be forgotten, but forever cherished. As per Sue's wishes, cremation has taken place.

My sincere condolences to the Pelchat family. I remember Salonge and my mother Nada sitting for coffee. Going to the Pelchat home after school until my parents came home from work. Best baked beans I ever had. So sorry to hear of her passing. Sincerly Salvatore Arar and family.
