It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sue in her 73rd year, at St. Josephs Hospital. Loving wife of the late Gary. Treasured mom of Jennifer(Octavio), Rebecca(Les), and Timothy. Devoted "Naner" of Kevin(Manda), Katrina(Goran), Damian, Dustin(Hayley), Destiny(Enor), Jake, Sydney and many great grandchildren. Sue is survived by her brother Jeff and brother-in-law David. She is predeceased by her parents Ralph and Sally Whalen and her sisters Claudia and Cathy. She will be greatly missed by many family, friends, and her cat KC. A special thanks to the staff in the Juravinski Tower, 4th floor at St. Josephs Hospital and her palliative care team from Bayshore. Visitation will be held at P.X. Dermody Funeral Home, 1919 King St. E. (between Cochrane and Rosedale) on Friday April 14, 2023 from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. The Rosary will be said at 3:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, 1393 Cannon St. E. on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
