Susan SHOULDICE

With great sadness the family announces that Susan passed away peacefully on Friday, February 4, 2022, at Juravinski Hospital in her 94th year. Predeceased by her husband Ernie Smith of 39 years, her parents Peter and Ann Rempel her brother Harry Rempel and sisters Lillian Hatle, Alice Wilson, Ruth Atkins, and Betty Jerome. Loved mother of Dorothy, Peter, and Bonnie (Ron Talbot). She will be missed by her grandchildren Melissa Barker, Jessica and Jason Talbot, Todd Munroe and Josh and Brianne Shouldice. She was great grandmother of Cory, Dustin and Tabitha and great-great grandmother of Sofia. Susan will be missed by her sister Leona LeMasurier and brothers John (Denys), and Richard Rempel. She will be missed by her long-time friends Mary and Pat Keegan and Agnes Talbot. Susan enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting, and reading. She especially loved walking at the mall every day and visiting with friends and family. She loved all animals but especially her cat Candy. Susan will be greatly missed, never forgotten, and forever loved. Thank you to the entire staff at Idlewyld Manor and to her special friend at Idlewyld Manor Elsie Taylor. Cremation has taken place and Susan will be buried alongside her husband at Mount Hamilton Cemetery in the spring and a private family burial will take place at that time.
