Passed away suddenly in Hamilton on May 24, 2023, at 62 years of age. Loving and devoted father of Candace (Ryan Cain), Patrick (Rebecca Ramsdale) and Dylan. Proud grandfather to Sophia. Will be dearly missed by Anabel Soriano.
Diana Moskal and Michele Malone will hold him in their memories. Son of the late Frank and Dolores O'Rourke and will be dearly missed by his father's wife, Gillian O'Rourke. Dear brother to the late Jim (Patricia), and Dan (Linda), Susan (Dave McColl), Carol Ann (Bob Boothby).
He will be sadly missed by his loving aunt Maureen (Tony Roberts) and many other aunts and uncles.
He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and their children.
All friends and family enjoyed Tom's sense of humour.
Tom's greatest joy was his 3 children and his granddaughter. He valued time spent with them laughing and making many memories.
Tom was an avid sports lover who played hockey weekly and had a passion for vintage cars.
He enjoyed weekends touching up paint on his vintage car, and spending time outdoors. Tom could spend hours on a sandy beach or walking trails at various parks. Tom had a long career with the Ontario Government.
Tom was a private man but to know him was to love him.
Visitation will be held at Friscolanti Funeral Chapel (43 Barton St E, Hamilton) on Thursday June 1, 2023, from 2-4pm and 5-7pm. A Funeral Mass will take place at Cathedral Basilica of Christ the King at 714 King St W, Hamilton on Friday June 2 at 11am.
Inurnment to follow at Assumption Catholic Cemetery at 1:30pm in Mississauga (6933 Tomken Rd).
